Remember, you are summarizing and making a highlight film of an event. Be sure your shots reflect the action of the event and tell the story. You should not have to tell the audience too much - Let the action tell the story.

Your Action Event movie should include:



General Video Requirements:

  • 10-20 Shots
  • 2-3 minutes in length
  • Include Natural Sound

Instructions to Transfer Videos from Camcorder to Group Folder:

  • Start
  • My Computer
  • Portable Drive
  • Your Class Folder
  • Your Group Folder
  • Leave this window open
  • Start
  • My Computer
  • Removable Disk (Probably E:)
  • MP_Root Folder
  • PNV01 Folder
  • Move windows so you can see part of Group Folder & Video Folder
    (Last videos taken are at the end of the list
  • Double-Click videos to play them, when you find the video(s) you want, drag them (or copy/paste) from Video Folder to your Group Folder

Items to Include in your Video:

  • Opening Title
  • Ending Title (with Class, Group #, Your Names, and Date)
  • Video Transitions

To turn in your project, Export Your Movie:

  • File
  • Export
  • Adobe Media Encoder
  • Format: Windows Media
  • Preset: NTSC Source to Download 1024kbps
  • OK
  • Save in: your Group Folder on Portable Drive
  • Save
