WORK EXPERIENCE SUMMARY:

I began my business career working at the Hartford Insurance Group in Hartford, Connecticut
as a Computer Operator. After numerous promotions, I applied for a position in operations
at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Jacksonville, Florida. At BCBS, I moved into computer
programming. In 1979, I came home to New England and began to work in the computer software
industry as a technical consultant. I held a number of positions, eventually advancing to the
position of Director of Customer Service in Financial Software Systems, at Dun & Bradstreet
Software. I re-started my education in 1995, and while a full time student, did contract work
in the software industry where I worked on such projects as Y2K, and the Euro currency. I began
my teaching career at King Philip in September of 2001.

PERSONAL:

I am married to Dianne and we live in Wrentham. We have three grown children
(two daughters and a son). I enjoy developing web pages, genealogy, reading and
writing poetry, dining out, traveling, spending time with family, listening to
music (Classical, Baroque, Blues, and soft Rock), reading, hiking in the White
Mountains, fishing, and learning more about medieval Irish history. One of the
most enjoyable things in my life, is the time I spend in class each day with
my students. I love my job!!
