Giant Stadium Itinerary / Meadowlands Security Info

Mr. Tileston has finalized the itinerary for October 4-5, the USSBA festival at Giants Stadium, and the trip to Broadway to see "Aida."

Mr. Tileston suggests your student needs to take around $30 for food stops along the trip.
The chaperones, under Mr. Tileston's direction, always have healthy snacks and water for between meals.

The public relations department has a suggestion about clothing for parental units. Send along only what will fit in a backpack. As for attending "Aida," according to the website Theatre-Link, "a tuxedo and evening wear are no longer de rigeur for attending a Broadway theatre."

Also, after the itinerary are the security measures for Giants Stadium. Most of them are similar to those at Gillette Stadium. However, video cameras and recording devices are not allowed.

Non-band members (staff, chaperones, equipment handlers, etc.) entering with the band must have an official USSBA pass. No exceptions.

Spectators must pass through a security checkpoint upon entering the stadium (all spectators enter through Gate D)

Band members: leave backpacks, instrument cases, etc., on the bus. Do not come to the gate with prohibited items. There are no storage facilities; prohibited items must be returned to your bus or discarded.
