| CONGRATULATIONS!!!
The King Philip Marching Band once again
went to Giant Stadium in New Jersey and became the 1999
Division III Open Champions. To win the event they scored a
96.9. Competing against 12 other bands from Virginia,
Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland, they
also captured all the caption awards. Their performance
earned them best music, best marching, best overall
effect, best auxiliary, and best percussion. The scores
in Division III ranges from 86.4 to King Philip's 96.9.
There closest competitor, Nazareth, PA, scored a 96.5. Once
again the King Philip Marching Band has performed with
"Pride and Passion."
