GUIDANCE OFFICE SUMMER HOURS 2007

The guidance counselors will be available at various times this summer from July 10 th-August 22 rd and August 28 th-30th . For counselor availability call Sarah Holt, guidance secretary, at (508) 541-3451.

The counselors are available to:

  • register new students
  • take requests for course/schedule changes
  • general consultation

 

MISSION STATEMENT

The Guidance Department of the King Philip Regional School District believes that guidance is an essential part of the total school program. The department maintains that an effective program of guidance promotes individual student growth and utilizes developmental activities organized and implemented by certified school counselors with the support of teachers, students, and parents. We believe that the following services are an integral part of an effective guidance program.
  • Counseling, Consultation, and Referral Services
  • Group Informational Services
  • Individual Planning Services
  • System Support and Program Development Services
The guidance program in the King Philip Regional School District is structured to assist all students to develop the following: knowledge of self and others, decision-making abilities, career awareness and exploration capabilities, and educational planning skills. By fulfilling this mission, we believe our guidance program will make significant contributions to the attainment of educational excellence in the King Philip Regional School District.
