Welcome to 8th grade!
My name is Mrs. Langmead and this is my first year teaching at KPMS. While it is my first year teaching, I worked as a paraprofessional at KPMS for the last 3 years. I am really excited to be back with the wonderful staff and students here. This year I will be co-teaching History, Science, ELA and Math on 8th grade Yellow Team. My after school help day will be Thursday.
Prior to teaching, I attended St. Michael's College in Colchester, Vermont where I received a B.A. in American Studies with a minor in Political Science. After undergrad, I continued my studies at Roger Williams University School of Law and received my J.D. For approximately 6 years, I practiced labor and employment law before deciding that teaching was my true passion. Currently, I am working toward my Master's in Special Education at Bridgewater State University.
I was born and raised in Attleboro, Massachusetts and currently reside there with my husband Dan and daughters Lily and Parker. In my spare time, I like playing basketball and fantasy football, watching sports or the latest binge-worthy television show, attending concerts and spending time with my family and friends.
