Miss Shelby Russell
Just a little bit about myself...
I am a recent graduate of Framingham State University (FSU) with the class of 2017. I have a Masters of Education in Teaching English as a Second Language and my Massachusetts Teaching License for Elementary Ed (Grades 1-6), Middle School Humanities (5-8), and English Language Learners (5-12). I am continuing my education by beginning my second Master's degree program at FSU this upcoming year for Literacy and Language.
During the school year, I am an 8th grade English Language Arts and 7/8th grade English Language Learner educator at King Philip Middle School in Norfolk, MA. In addition to my roles as a teacher, I am also the KPMS Yearbook Co-Advisor and the Co-Director of the King Philip Regional School District's English Language Learner Program. I am also a personal care assistant for a young boy with special needs and I absolutely love working with him during the week and every weekend.
Overall, I am passionate about teaching, learning, traveling, and working with children of all ages and needs and I am enjoying the opportunity at KPMS to share my passion with my students.
