"When we do the best that we can, we never know what miracle is wrought in our life, or in the life of another.”
― Helen Keller

The 2020-2021 school year marks my 20th year of teaching mathematics at King Philip Middle School. My goal is to relate the curriculum to the real life of my students. If the students understand why a topic is important and how they can use it in their everyday life right now, they are more willing to take ownership of mastery of the material.

I graduated from Fitchburg State College in 2001 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, Middle School Education, and Psychology. In 2008, I received my Masters of Education in Middle School Mathematics from Cambridge College. I continue to take graduate courses so that I can really practice what I teach, that learning is a life-long process. Lastly, I teach on-line graduate courses for Colorado State University Pueblo. When I am not teaching, I can be found at many local sports fields cheering on my two boys!
