King Philip, Norfolk, Plainville and Wrentham Schools to Host Pop-Up COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Next Week

Superintendents Paul Zinni, Ingrid Allardi, David Raiche and Allan Cameron, and Regional Director of Wellness Dot Pearl, are pleased to announce that the King Philip, Plainville, Norfolk and Wrentham school districts will be hosting a pop-up COVID-19 vaccine clinic next week.

WHEN:

Monday, Aug. 30 from 3 – 6:30 p.m.

WHERE:

King Philip Regional High School Bus Loop, 201 Franklin St., Wrentham

WHAT:

The King Philip, Plainville, Norfolk and Wrentham school districts, in collaboration with Cataldo Pro EMS, will host a vaccine clinic for students 12 years old and older, family members and school staff ahead of the upcoming school year.

At the clinic, the Pfizer vaccine will be available to community members ages 12+. Community members between the ages of 12 and 17 will need a signed waiver from a parent or guardian, but do not need an adult present with them at the time of the inoculation. Both the Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available for anyone over the age of 17.

Those interested in attending the clinic are encouraged to register in advance and provide consent for their child to be vaccinated. To register, click here. Parents may also accompany their children to the clinic to register and provide consent on site.

While the clinic will accept walk-ins during the scheduled hours, advanced registration is preferred as it will assist in preparing for adequate supply and staff, and will support an efficient clinic.

A second dose clinic will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 20 from 3 – 6:30 p.m. at the same location for those who receive the Pfizer vaccine.

Anyone with any questions regarding the upcoming clinic is encouraged to contact Dot Pearl at pearld@kingphilip.org.
