King Philip Regional School District Offers Halloween Safety Tips

Superintendent Paul Zinni would like to offer the following guidance and safety tips as Halloween approaches to help King Phillip Regional High School and Middle School students and families celebrate safely this season.

Halloween Trick-or-Treating & Festivity Safety

Headlines in the news have cautioned that “rainbow fentanyl,” a deadly illegal drug, can resemble brightly colored candy. While there have been no reports in Massachusetts, these news reports do highlight the importance of maintaining vigilance as a parent or guardian. When your trick-or-treater returns home to dump their plunder on the kitchen counter, be sure to check for candy that is open or that you do not recognize.

Driving Safety

Halloween can be a dangerous night for both pedestrians and drivers, so follow these basic safety tips:
