Announcements

  • DECA ICDC 2019

The King Philip DECA chapter is proud to announce that for the eighth straight year, our chapter has returned from DECA's International Career Development Conference as International Champions. Six out of our teams (most in MA) were announced as International Finalists, five of those teams (most in MA) achieved top 10 status, and two of these teams earned "DECA Glass" by finishing first place internationally. KP DECA qualified more teams to attend this conference and placed more teams in the final round of competition than any other school in MASS-DECA for the second straight year. In addition, out of the five glass trophies earned by Massachusetts, two of those belong to KP DECA. Our entire chapter is proud of our delegation's confidence, preparation, and work ethic of all of our teams. Our organization is excited and optimistic about our future and anticipated continued success at all levels of DECA competition.

  • District Results

The King Philip DECA chapter would like to announce the results from our MASS-DECA District 2 Conference this week. Our chapter will be sending 57 projects (new chapter record) to our MASS-DECA State Career Development Conference in March. Our chapter qualified this record number of projects due to the outstanding leadership of our seniors and the positive energy of our new members. These recent accomplishments truly illustrates the pride our students have for this program. This would not be at all possible without the support of our alumni and parents who serve as mentors and coaches for our teams. Our chapter now looks to our State Conference in March with optimism and excitement. Thank you.
