King Philip DECA Members Qualify for Upcoming State Career Development Conference

Superintendent Paul Zinni, King Philip DECA Advisor James Dow and Vice President of Marketing Emma Sheehan are pleased to announce that King Philip DECA members have qualified for the State Career Development Conference (SCDC).

King Philip DECA performed exceptionally well at the Massachusetts DECA District Two Conference, which was held on Jan. 5-6 at the Mansfield Holiday Inn, and are now moving onto SCDC in March.

Students competing at the district conference had to place in the top five of their respective categories in order to qualify for the state conference. Students were recognized for their hard work and efforts in areas of marketing, community service, finance, hospitality and tourism. 

KP DECA students who were recognized at the district conference include:

“We are extremely proud of our entire chapter’s achievements during this school year so far,” Sheehan said. “Following our success at the district conference, all of our KP DECA members will be attending the highly competitive state competition with DECA chapters from across Massachusetts.”
