WRENTHAM — Superintendent Dr. Rich Drolet, Principal Nicole Bottomley, and the School Counselors are pleased to share that King Philip Regional High School hosted a highly successful and greatly expanded Career Fair on Wednesday, April 30, offering students an engaging and valuable look into a wide range of career pathways.
This year’s Career Fair featured over 45 vendors representing a diverse variety of industries, including technology, health care, business, the arts, public safety, and the skilled trades.
“The expansion of this event reflects our commitment to providing students with real-world connections and meaningful opportunities to plan for their futures,” said Principal Bottomley. “It was an excellent opportunity for our students to explore a variety of potential careers and speak directly with professionals in fields they may want to pursue.”
The School Counselors helped organize the Career Fair, which took place in a walk-through format. This format allowed students to interact directly with local business owners, industry professionals, and career experts. Students could ask thoughtful questions, gather resources, and learn about internships, job opportunities, and educational and training programs available after high school.
“This interactive event gave our students the chance to engage in meaningful conversations and make valuable connections that could help shape their career goals,” School Counselor Mallory Connors said.
The King Philip Regional School District extends its sincere thanks to all participating vendors and community partners who helped make the event a success. The District looks forward to continuing its expansion of career-readiness opportunities for all students in the years to come.
”I would like to recognize the School Counselors, Principal Nicole Bottomley, and Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction, & Assessment Colleen Terrill for their outstanding work in organizing this year’s Career Fair,” Superintendent Dr. Drolet said. “Their dedication and attention to detail created an event that truly benefited our students by opening doors to a wide variety of career pathways. We are incredibly grateful for their commitment to supporting student success. I would also like to thank our community partners who greatly contributed to this Career Fair.”
