King Philip Regional School District Announces Next Strategic Planning Process, Opportunities for Community Input

WRENTHAM — Superintendent Rich Drolet and the King Philip Regional School District encourage parents/guardians and community members to attend a focus group and complete a survey to help inform the district’s next Strategic Plan.

As part of the process to create a new Strategic Plan, which will guide the district through 2029, King Philip Regional School District is seeking input and feedback from community members.

A focus group will take place for parents/guardians, and other community members, on Thursday, March 21 from 5-6 p.m. in the King Philip Regional Middle School Library (18 King St, Norfolk, MA 02056).

Those wishing to participate in the parent/community member Focus Group should RSVP to Superintendent Drolet at droletr@kingphilip.org or Administrative Assistant Venessa Petit at petitv@kingphilip.org.

All King Philip constituents are also encouraged to take part in the King Philip Regional School District Strategic Planning Survey.

To complete the survey, click here. Responses should be submitted by Friday, March 22.

The survey includes questions about district leadership, school leadership, school environment, student mental health, curriculum and instruction, school and district communication, and family and community engagement. It will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. Responses are anonymous and will be kept confidential.

Public input will be used as the Strategic Plan is created in the coming months.

The five-year Strategic Plan is a tool that assists a district in staying focused on what it is, what it wants to be, and how it can achieve its goals. It represents the set of actions an organization chooses to pursue in order to achieve its objectives.

“Community feedback is an essential part of this collaborative process,” said Superintendent Drolet. “These opportunities for public feedback will help shape the future of the King Philip Regional School District. We sincerely appreciate the community’s contributions to this process.”

Questions about the King Philip District Strategic Planning process can be directed to Superintendent Drolet at droletr@kingphilip.org.
