Plumbing issue at the high school.

Dear King Philip Regional  Middle School Community Members,

Please see below regarding a message which was just sent to all high school families.

All students at the King Philip Regional High School will be dismissed early today due to a plumbing issue in the building.

At this time, most bathrooms within the high school are not functional and cannot be used by students or staff members. Students are currently gathered in the auditorium as we work to address this issue.

Due to the plumbing issues and subsequent interruption to the school day, all high school students will be dismissed from school effective immediately. An additional update regarding all after-school events scheduled for today will be shared later this afternoon.

At this time, we are working to notify the bus company and organize transportation for students. Once buses arrive, students will be transported home.

Parents can pick their students up from the front of the school building. Students whose parents can’t pick them up immediately will be able to stay at school until arrangements have been made.

At this point, the incident is not expected to impact school tomorrow. However, if this changes, parents will be notified. We thank you all for your cooperation as we work to fix the issue.

Sincerely,

Superintendent Paul Zinni
