A Message from King Philip’s Principals

Dear King Philip Regional School Community Members,

We hope this letter finds you well and that you’ve had a great start to the school year so far. As tryouts and Fall athletics begin, we would like to share some housekeeping responsibilities to be mindful of.

Each year, we have hundreds of students partake in different sports and countless more attend our games as spectators. Athletics are an important component of our student’s school experience, but more importantly than whether our teams win or lose are the vital lessons our students learn. Through sports, students learn how to work with one another and respect each other, develop leadership skills, and more.

We encourage all King Philip school community members, athletes and fans alike, to represent KP with pride and do their part to promote a positive environment on the field and in the stands. We have worked hard to ensure that everyone who puts on a King Philip uniform, coaches one of our teams, or is a fan is held to the highest standards of honor, integrity, and sportsmanship. Inappropriate behavior including unsportsmanlike conduct or derogatory comments will not be tolerated at any KP-hosted or attended event. We expect our athletes and fans to demonstrate positive behavior and act with dignity.

Participation in athletic activities should not only be fun but should also provide lasting life lessons and worthwhile experiences for all of the students involved. We hope that throughout the school year our athletes and fans will enjoy themselves at our sporting events.

We greatly look forward to our upcoming athletic seasons and wish our KP Warriors the best of luck in their games and competitions. We thank you all for your patience and understanding, and should you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us.

Sincerely,

Ms. Michelle Kreuzer,

King Philip Middle School Principal

Dr. Lisa Mobley

King Philip High School Principal
